m² + 11m + 18

[We know that, 18 = 9 × 2

and 9 + 2 = 11]

= m² + (9 + 2)m + 18

= m² + 9m + 2m + 18

= m(m + 9) + 2(m + 9)

= (m + 9)(m + 2),
which is the required factorization.

Correct question,
m² +11m + 18

=> m² +11m + 18

=> m² +(9+2)m+18

=> m² +9m +2m +18

=> m(m+9)+2(m+9)

=> (m+2)(m+9)
