Important in the formation, structure, and potential use of a material, Surface Area is a common test.

Surface Area is measured by the static volumetric method using nitrogen. The material is first out-gassed using heat and/or vacuum to remove any impurities. After being cooled with liquid nitrogen, the volume of gas adsorbed is measured at varying pressures. Analysis follows the B.E.T. (Brunauer, Emmet, and Teller) Theory.

Testing may be processed as Single Point Surface Area or BET Surface Area.

Sample requirements for testing:
10 grams of sample minimum. Material shall fit into an 8mm diameter sample tube for testing.

Prathmeshkamra: Thanks but this is too long answer I want short answer for the above question
