MYOPIA

Person can't see long distance

Eye ball is elongated

Image is formed in front of the Retina

Concave lens is required to treat it

Far point is less than infinity

HYPERMETROPIA

Person can't see close by objects

Eye ball gets shortened

Image is formed behind the retina

Convex lens is required for it's treatment

Near point is more than 25 cm
