This novel presents the lifestyle of the Tamil people.

Kandukuri Veeresalingam Pantulu (who is known as the Rajaram Mohan Roy of Andhra) wrote a novel Rajasekhara Charitramu, that depict the life of the Tamil population of Andhra Pradesh. The Telugu language is employed in the writing of this novel. Inspired by Oliver Goldsmith’s Vicar of Wakefield, this novel reflects the social condition of Tamils. It is full of irony, and it exactly represents the Telugu traditions of the times.
