A Herbarium is defined as a collection of plants that are usually have been dried, pressed, preserved on sheets this process is called herbarium technique.

In schools and colleges we can do this process under teachers guidance. In this process we need some things, that are scissors, spade, bag, newspaper and clean board. First step is taken the plant from land with the help of scissors, then cut into pieces and remove the unhealthy part of the plant.Place this part of the plant between two sheets of news paper, the flower is pressed remove it from the news paper carefully and put on a corner of herbarium sheet. A Herbarium is a collection of preserved plant or fungal specimens.
