The protozoa that causes malaria is Plasmodium parasite. These Plasmosdium parasite is present in the stomach of the female Anofeles Mosquitoes that carry them and when bite a person then the Plasmodium parasite get transferred to that person's body. These Plasmodium parasite then lives inside the Red Blood Cells of that person's body for a very short period of time. And after that they multiply very quickly that causes Malaria in that person resulting in high fever.
