Answer:

75 km/hr

Step-by-step explanation:

In case 1:

By the formula

time=distance/speed

we get,

t=900/60

time=15 hours

so if we want 3 hours fast then the time is

15-3=12 hours

so by the formula

speed=distance/time

speed=900/12

speed=75km/hr.

The speed should be 75km/hour to reach the destination before 3 hours

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : Distance traveled = 900 km

            speed = 60 km/ hour

Now As we know

speed =\dfrac{distance}{time}

Therefore

60=\dfrac{900}{Time} \\\\\Rightarrow Time= \dfrac{900}{60} \\\\\Rightarrow Time =  15 hours

Now as we have to find the require speed to reach the destination 3 hours before

we have

Time= 15 hours - 3 hours = 12 hours

Distance = 900 km

Therefore

Speed=\dfrac{Distance}{Time} =\dfrac{900 km}{12 hours} = 75 km/ hour

Hence to reach the destination before by 3 hours,  manoj should drives the car at the speed of 75 km / hour
