H2+Cl2→ 2HCL

for one mole of hydrogen one mole of chlorine is required, and it gives two moles of HCl. Mass of one mole of hydrogen molecule is 2 gram and hence for this much mass one mole of Chlorine molecule is required & mass of one mole chlorine molecule is 71 gram
