Materials like coal and pencil lead do not show the 'malleability' property. Can we call these metals?can u explain it in brief

both coal and pencil lead that is graphite are non metals
both these are forms of carbon

utkarshprakash2005: no we can not say them metal because metal are always conductor but coal and pencil lead are insulator . and metal are sonorus thus they produce sound but the coal and lead are not sonorous
