Experiment to show matter is made up of particles :

1. Take 2-3 crystals of Potassium permanganate ( KMnO4) and dissolve them in 100 ml of water.

2. Take out approximately 10 ml of this solution and put into 90 ml of clear water.

3. Take out 10 ml of this solution and put it into another 90 ml of clear water.

4. Keep on diluting this solution like this 5-8 times.

5. This Experiment show that just a few crystals of Potassium permanganate can change color.

So, this Experiment show that matter is made up of small particle.
