Dear Diary,

I am very upset today! I lost my newly gifted Apple smart watch today! I was having so much fun with classmates at Wonderland. Today would have been the best day of life if I had not lost my precious watch in the excitement of hustle and bustle at the amusement park.

Though my parents have tried their best to console me over the loss; they have assured me they will buy me another similar watch, but I am unable to take my mind off the loss. How careless of me to have lost such a costly watch in sheer childish excitement! In future I will learn to take care of my precious possessions.

Answer:

Losing one's favourite things doesn't make you feel nice. And so, not to me also. Unfortunately I lost my favourite wrist watch today. Yes, you heard it right. The blue strap with the black dial and the golden little hands pointing at the bold yellow numbers. I know it seems so much impossible that a person like me, who never has lost a single thing, lost a wrist watch today and even its my favourite one. So strange! I'm sorry diary, this dag wasn't so fun and I had to write these sad things on your skin blotting the paper with my favourite black ink that mom gifted me. I'm really very sorry. I really feel guilty now. If only I had been a little careful when packing my bags after the picnic with my school friends, this wouldn't have happened. My heart is literally dying of grief now. I wish I could get back that watch. But at this moment, all i can do is promise to take care of things like I used to. Anyways, I need to go now. Mom is calling me.

Love,

Meera.
