Mehar wiped the leaves of a plant with an oily cloth to remove all the dust and to give it a shiny look. After a few days the plant died. Why did it die?

becoz due to the oil the plant was unable to breath like the stomata thing it is a opening under the leaf and above .Mainly there is more below .plz forgive 4 spellings .hope it helps
