Today was a ordinary morning of school for Jeff. He woke up late and took his shower and got on his bus to go to school. When he reached the classroom he was surprised to see a baby monkey sitting on his chair. The monkey got scared when he saw Jeff. He jumped and sat on the window sill. But when Jeff opened his bag and offered a banana to him he took it from his hand.

            The monkey happily ate the banana. He sat there quietly throughout the day. He seemed to like Jeff. When the classes got over and it was time to go home he caught hold of Jeff's hand with his little fingers. When Jeff tried to get up and go he clung to his arm as if asking him to take him along. So he took him him home.            
             In the evening he took him to his study room. Jeff opened his school bag and took out his books. The monkey wanted to see what was there in the bag so he peeped into it. When Jeff started writing with a pencil, the monkey took the pencil from his hand and tried to hold it like him. When he used the eraser the monkey pulled it out of his hand and tried to bite it. Jeff enjoyed doing the homework with the monkey sitting next to him. Thus he got a new friend and pet.
