The menstrual cycle is the name for the changes that happen in a woman's body about once a month to prepare itself for a possible pregnancy. During each menstrual cycle, an egg is released from one of the ovaries and the uterus (womb) develops a lining in which a fertilised egg could implant.

In case fertilization doesn't takes place the ova along with the lining sheds off that causes vaginal bleeding in woman.

This is termed as Menstruation/Menstrual cycle.

Hope it helps uhh✌✌✌
