Diffusion is a movement of molecules or ion of a solute or solvent, whether a solid, liquid or gas from the region of its higher concentration to its lower concentration. osmosis is a types of diffusion only regarding to water.It means movement of water from it's higher concentration to its lower through semi permeable membrane.
