Resources are basically classified as living and non living resources . living resources are human resources and living organisms whereas non living resources are fossil fuels , soil , minerals , petroleum etc.. Resources are very crucial for the county's development . They contribute towards economic , social and cultural development of the country. Resources are to be saved for the future generation. so , we need to use the resources judiciously and we need to conserve them as well. In fact , even we are the resources who contribute towards overall development of our country . If we have over utilize the resources such as non renewable resources , it gets depleted very soon and takes millions of years to renew again .
