The main reasons behind such huge increase in the E waste are due to the increased number of products. This has occurred because of development and technology and the excess has created disposal problems.
Example being the existence of over a billion PCs in the world having a 2-year average life span in developed countries. This results in a lot of obsolete systems available as wastage.
