here are the differences between green forest and desert forest:

green forest: they receive rainfall more than 200 cm.
desert forest: they receive rainfall less than 50 cm.

green forest: wide variety of plants and trees are found.
desert forest: thorns and bushes are usually found.

green forest: the roots of vegetation are not deeply penetrated as water is available easily.
desert forest: the roots are deeply penetrated because the water is not available easily.

green forest: the vegetation grows in humid climate.
desert forest: the vegetation grows in dry climate.

green forest: the trees have a height between 20 ft - 60 ft.
desert forest: the vegetation has height between 5 ft- 15 ft.

green forest: Animals such as Bengal Tiger, Rhinoceros, Gorilla et cetera are found there.
desert forest: animal such as rattle snakes, Camel, Xerocole  et cetera are found there.
