1. mutation : A mutation is a permanent change in the DNA sequence of a gene. Mutations in a gene's DNA sequence can alter the amino acid sequence of the protein encoded by the gene.
2.genetic drift : Genetic drift or allelic drift is the change in the frequency of a gene variant (allele) in a population due to random sampling.
geographical 3.isolation : A population that becomes divided (isolated) by a physical barrier, allowing each of the separated groups an independent evolutionary path.
4.natural selction : The process whereby organisms better adapted to their environment tend to survive and produce more offspring.
