The fundamental rights are guaranteed to minority and majority as well. According to Article 14 of the Constitution, all persons shall be equally subjected to the law and that among equals; law shall be equal and shall be equally administered.

Minorities are given reservation in all the government buildings and offices.

There is reservation for sc,st and obc in every government offices and colleges.

Earlier reservation law was made only for 10 years after Independence but it was continued after getting it's benefits.

Reservation is made to assure that no one should be discriminated in the country and they should have equal role to contribute in the country's economy.
