For finding Hybridization ....
you just have to count the number of bonds and the no. of lone pairs......
.!!!!!!!! count a double or a triple bond as 1 only !!!!!!!!
For example in CH4 .
.. there are four single bonds....
so the hybridization is sp3
If you want to know the hybridization in CH2=CH2...
..there, each carbon has two single bonds and one double bond (count it as one)
so the hybridization is sp2...
