merits: a questionairre will reveal the smallest of data from the respondent, it will give time for the respondent to think and answer, the data collected can be assessed and tabulated easily.
limitations: lots of questions will make the respondent to leave questions which doesnt involve his interest, online questonairres will take a lot of time to get responded, twisty questions may not be understood by the respondent and hence can lead to incorrect data.
