meteors burn on entering into the atmosphere. why,?​

Explanation:

as we know that atmosphere consists of small particles when meteors fall on the earth due to atmosphere refraction or resistance the meteor get heated up and start burning I will know or atmosphere is very long consists of seven layers which is very high so because of heat the meteor get turn into ash.

We all know that air has many small particles. So, when they come into the Earth's atmosphere, friction generates between the meteor and hence, in gets burnt in the atmosphere.

In the diagram shown above it is told that the blue ball is the earth. The red border is the atmospheric layer. And the green coloured line is the meteor. Yellow dots are the small air particles. The meteors are therefore burnt in this process.
