microbes are bane and boon because some microbes likes bacteria, viruses etc. are bad for our body and we become sick. Some of microbes are good for our body like white blood cells (w b c) are helpful to fight against germs, viruses and bacteria etc.

  Vaccines are produced using microbes. 'Prevention is better than cure ' , vaccines are a part of preventive methods . It induces the production of antibodies and develops immunity .

   Antibiotics are another benefit we get using microbes . Antibiotics are chemical substances derived from microbes like fungi , bacteria etc . employed to kill infectious germs ( pathogens) and cure a disease .

   Bio technologically synthesized vitamin B 12 is used to cure scholasticism anemia. Microbes are used for its synthesis .

   Biochemically significant enzymes are derived from microbes . The enzyme Amylase is derived from protestations of bacteria .

   Diabetes is treated by bio technologically produced insulin which is synthesized with the help of microbes.

Microbes are bane :

   Microbes like viruses cause dreadful diseases like polio , rabies , hepatitis , meningitis , encephalitis ,etc .

   Some bacteria are parasitic and cause diseases. The diseases caused by bacteria in man are tuberculosis, cholera , typhoid , diphtheria , leprosy, pertussis , tetanus , plague , pneumonia , syphilis , gonorrhea, etc .

   Certain species of fungi are parasitic , ring worm attack the fraternized layer of skin , destroying it in circular patches . Dandruff and Athletes' foot are other fungal diseases that attack man.

   Some parasitic protozoans cause malaria , amoebic dysentery , sleeping sickness , etc.
