Microsporogenesis process takes place inside the microsporangia inside the anther in which a diploid cell in the microsporangium, called a microsporocyte or a pollen mother cell, undergoes meiosis and gives rise to four haploid microspores inside the microsporangia (or pollen sacs) of seed plants.

These four nuclei are arranged tetrahedrallyand are soon invested with cell walls. They are the microspores or pollens which soon dry up and become powdery while the tapeworm become absorbed.
