Let C.P of watch For Mohit = x
Mohit Sold It At a profit of 10%
So,
S.P of Mohit = x + 10x/100
                     = 110x/100
                     = 11x/10
S.P of Mohit = C.P for Karim
No,

Karim sells it at a profit of 4%
So S.P of Karim = 11x + 11x * 4
                             ------   ------------
                               10     10 * 100
                           = 1100x + 44x / 1000

S.P Of karim = C.P of Rahim
But Rahim Pays 14300 for it

Therefore,

1144x /1000 = 14300
x = 14300 * 1000/1144
x = Rs 12500

Therefore,

Mohit Buys The Watch For Rs 12500

let Mohit buy a watch = Rs 100
sold at a gain of 10% = 100+100*10%
                                     = 100 +10 = 110
now karim cp = 110
he sold at 4% gain = 110 +(110*4%)
                                  = 110 + 4.4 = 114.40
so,
    by using direct variation method
              Karim                               Mohit
               114.40                             100
              14300                                   ?
   Mohit  =  14300 x 100
                   -----------------   =   Rs.12500
                        114.40
