More rice is grown in and around west Bengal but not in uttar Pradesh. Give reason.

Most rice is grown in and around West Bengal because it has adequate amount of water ,temperature and rainfall required for rice plantation .it has suitable climatic conditions for rice to grow whereas Uttar pradesh doesn't have suitable climatic conditions and enough water .
So, due to favourable conditions in West Bengal more rice is grown in and around but not in Uttar Pradesh.
