Your answer :

Plants are green in colour because of a green pigment present in it called chlorophyll. The leaves of the pant have many cells in it. It has chloroplast which gives colour to the plant in the presence of chlorophyll. Chlorophyll helps in the process of photosynthesis by capturing sunlight. It absorbs every light but reflects the green light making the leaf of the plant appear green in colour.

Hope this helps.

Have a nice day =)
