Answer:

Age of Amal = 5 years

Age of mother = 30 years

Age of grand mother = 60 years

Step-by-step explanation:

Correct Question :-

Mother’s age is 6 times Amal’s age and grandmother’s age is twice

mother’s age. After 5 years the sum of their ages will be 110 years. Find

the present age.

Given,

Mothers age is 6 times Amal's age and grandmother's age is twice the mother's age.

After '5' years , Sum of their ages equals to 110 years.

To Find :-

Find the present ages.

Solution :-

Let,

Age of the Amal = 'x' years

Age of mother = 6x years

Age of grandmother = 12x years

After 5 years :-

Mothers age = 6x + 5 years

Amals age = x + 5 years

Grandmothers age = 12x + 5 years

6x + 5 + x + 5 + 12x + 5 = 110 years

19x + 15 = 110 years

19x = 110 years - 15 years

19x = 95 years

x = 95 years/19

x = 5 years

Since, age of Amal = x = 5 years

Mothers age = 6x = 6(5years) = 30 years

Grandmothers age = 12x = 12(5years) = 60 years
