Answer:

son ----- x

mr dimaguba = x+30

x+30 = 3x+10

3x-x=30-10

Answer:

MR. DIMAGUBA IS 30 YEARS OLDER THAN HIS SON.

LET THE SON AGE TO BE X.

FATHER'S AGE=X+30

IF MR. DIMAGUBA IS 10 MORE THAN THRICE AS HIS SON'S AGE = X+30 +10=3X

=>X+40=3X

=>X-3X=-40=-2X=-40=X=40/2=20 (

☆MINUS SIGN IS CANCELLED OUT)

FATHER'S AGE X +40=20 +40=60 YEARS

SON AGE 3X=3×20=60YEARS

(VERIFIED THE SOLUTION)

NOW THEIR AGES

SON AGE IS 20 YEARS

FATHER'S AGE IS 30 +20 =50 YEARS
