 = ( {a}^{2}  -  {b}^{2} )^{2}

 =  {a}^{4}  +  {b}^{4} - 2 {a}^{2}   {b}^{2}

(a^2-b^2)(a^2-b^2)

= a^2(a^2-b^2)-b^2(a^2-b^2)

= a^4-a^2b^2-a^2b^2+b^4

= a^4-2a^2b^2+b^4
