my mother used to wrap curd and keep it inside a hot case during winters but, now in summers , she keep container outside to set the curd. give reason

Because the lactobacillus bacteria in curd in the curd requires heat to change the milk into curd . During summers, the heat in the surrounding is sufficient for the bacteria to multiply but in winters the environment is cool so we keep the container inside to provide it warmth
