The most common kind of keyboard is referred to as a 'QWERTY' keyboard after the keys on the top row of letters. It was invented by C L Scholes in the 1860s when he was working out the best place to put the keys on a manual typewriter.

Answer:

Typewriters and Modern-day computers share certain common keys between them. They are mainly space bar, shift key and enter key.

The space bar is the largest key which is present in both these devices. It helps in giving spaces between two words.

The enter key is a key which helps the cursor to go to the next line.

The Shift key is a key that is used as a modifier which allows a user to type a single capital letter.
