Answer: Two substances which are selectively reabsorbed from the tubules of a nephron are Amino acids and Glucose.

Reabsorption is one of the processes in urine formation which takes place mostly in the PCT ( proximal convulated tubule) of the nephron ( functional unit of kidney.

During this process most of the essential substances ( which need not to be excreted out) are taken back by the blood plasma from the tubule of the nephron. For accomplishing this, proximal tubule have specialised cuboidal epithelial cells with microvilli facing the lumen. This helps in better reabsorption of substances.

Since glucose and amino acids are important for the body, therefore they are reabsorbed in the tubules of the nephron.
