We Indians have always been following a different culture. Our traditions and practices have been different from other countries of the world. Therefore, there is no use comparing the names of other countries with that of us.
The name India was given to us because of the river Indus and the Greeks referred Indians as Indoi. Hence,we got the name India.
It is the strategy of our government officials who transformed the name from Bharat to India. Our country is unique in itself. It's worthless to compare it with that of other countries' names.
Similarly, Jesus is named as "Isa Masiha" in Hindi. What can be the reason behind it?? Maybe because this name was unique in itself.........
