Nasira Sharma , a noted Hindi writer , was born in Allahabad in 1947.She has a command over many languages . Among her published works are ten collections of short stories , six novels three  essay-collections and seven translated works in Hind from Pharsi . Some of her stories have been serialized on the TV . She has produced six films for TV . One of her novels was awarded the UK Fiction award . Her translated story' HUNGER  ' is one of her best stories.
