Short note on Himalayan Mountain :-
These young fold mountain stretch from Kashmir in the West to Assam in the East and form an arc. They are about 2,400km long and 150-450km wide. The Himalayas are known as young fold mountain because they were formed comparatively recently in earth's history as a result of compression.
