At nigh the land is cooler than water due to the fact that the land gets cooler and heater faster than the water. So at night the air over the water has higher temperature than that of land.So the air over water rises upwards.Due to which a low pressure area is created over the water .On land the air is cooler than that of water so a high pressure area is created over land .Thus the air from high pressure area over land rushes to fill the area over low pressure area of water
