There are many examples of flowers which have both stamens and carpels together in the same flower. A few examples of such flowers include Hibiscus, Sunflower, Rose, Lily, Tulip, and Daffodil.

The flower is a bisexual or monoecious flower it has both female and male reproductive organs which is useful for self pollination. This process helps to maintain the parental characters in an offspring. Stamen releases pollen which are microspore mother cell which goes to the egg or mega spore mother cell for fertilization to occur.
