The IUPAC Name of the Given compounds are ⇒

1. But-2-ene.

2. Prop-1-yne.

These IUPAC name have been the correct name for these compounds.

IUPAC means International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry which guides the Chemistry of whole over the world. All the rules of different branches of physics are Governed by this union only.

This Union has only made the rules for making the Nomenclature of the Carbon compounds because it forms many compounds whose common naming was very difficult to learn.

While naming the above compounds, I followed the common Rule.

1. I First Calculated the number of Carbon atoms in both the chain.

In First Compounds, it was But, for four carbon. In Second Compound, Prop for three Carbon.

Now, In First Compound Position of double bond is 2, then 2 - ene is written after But.

Also, in 2nd compound, triple bond is present in 1 position, therefore, name is Prop-1-yne.

Hope it helps.
