Name the gases evolved in the following cases:
(i) Addition of dilute sulphuric acid to sodium bisulphite.
(ii) Action of heat on calcium nitrate.
(iii) Heating cuprous sulphide with nitric acid. (iv) Heating anhydrous ferrous sulphate.​

1. Sodium sulphite reacts with sulphuric acid to produce sodium bisulfate, sulfur dioxide and water.

2. When calcium nitrate is heated ,white colour calcium oxide is formed along with it reddish brown gas known as nitrogen dioxide is given out accompanied with oxygen gas.

3. When copper is reacted with cold, dilute nitric acid it yields copper nitrate, water, and nitric oxide.

4. On heating, ferrous sulphate crystals lose water and anhydrous ferrous sulphate (FeSO4) is formed
