heya mate here is ur answer :

Mirror used in Headlights of a car : Concave mirror

concave mirror is used because  when the bulb of headlight is placed at focus of concave mirror, it allows the light to spread out to infinity (longer distances).

rear minor of a vehicle  : Convex mirror

because they give an erect, virtual, full size diminished image of distant objects with a wider field of view.

Answer:

Headlight in a Car :

  • A concave mirror is used in the headlight of a car. The reason being that a concave mirror is a converging mirror as opposed to a convex mirror which is a diverging mirror.

Rear view glass of vehicle :

  • Convex Mirror because the image is smaller, more image can fit onto the mirror, so a convex mirror provides for a larger field of view than a plane mirror.
