Vindhya range is the name of mountain range which bounds Central Highlands of India on the north-west.
The Central Highlands of India mainly covers the highlands of Rajasthan, U.P and M.P. It is bounded by Aravelli in the west, in the south by Narmada and Deccan Plateau, in the east by Eastern Highlands and in the north by Northern plains.
In the North-west it is bounded by Vindhya range.
