Organs involved in digestion of food in humans are

Hollow organs are

1. Mouth
2. Oesophagus
3. Stomach
4. Small intestine
5. Large intestine

Solid organs are

6. Liver
7. Pancreas
8. Gall bladder

The organs which involve in digestion are :-

Mouth - It helps in chewing and breaking of starch.

Oesophagus - It helps in passing of chewed food to stomach.

Stomach - It is the place where food is stored and then sent to intestine in
little quantity. Also, the breaking down of proteins starts here.

Small Intestine - It is the site of complete digestion and assimilation occurs here. 

Large Intestine - It is the site where some water is reabsorbed.

Anus - The waste materials are removed from here.



Other organs :

Salivary Gland - It releases saliva for help in chewing and also salivary amylase which helps in breaking down of starch.

Gastric Gland - They are present in walls of Stomach which secretes gasteric juices.

Pancreas - They secrete pancreatic juice.

Liver - They secrete bile juice.

Gall bladder - They store bile.
