Haemoglobin is the respiratory pigment found in mammals ..
It is stored in RBCs and helps in respiration..
It binds with oxygen to form oxyhaemoglobin..near the lung surface in blood capillaries and transports oxygen to required parts of the body..
Near the cells as CO2 is released out haemoglobin binds with it to form Carbaminohaemoglobin and transports it back to the lungs for expiring..co2..
