the primary sector forms the base for all other products or industry because the raw materials needed for this industry is produced by the primary sector.

all this sectors are interlinked, if there is a crisis that affects one of the sectors then the whole economy will be affected as a whole.

The primary sector forms the basis of all other sectors or products as it is related to extraction of natural resources. Other products mostly are derived from natural resources and other sectors process these products and provide services for the their transportation. Secondary sector industries require resources for processing. Thus we can conclude from this that the primary sector forms the backbone of the entire economy(all the three sectors).
