carbon disulphide

The mixture of carbon and sulphur can be separated from each other by using a solution of carbon disulphide. Sulphur gets dissolved in the solution whereas carbon remains undissolved.

HEY MATE HERE IS YOUR ANSWER -

The mixture of carbon and sulphur can be separated from each other by using a solution of carbon disulphide. Sulphur gets dissolved in the solution whereas carbon remains undissolved. This mixture is then filtered to remove carbon followed by evaporation to obtain sulphur
