The answer is Radish and Carrot.
This is because both are taproots having one dominant root from which lateral roots sprout out. Both also develop from the radicle of seed. Carrot is conical root i.e. widest at the top and tapering gradually to bottom: e.g. carrot. Radish is fusiform root which is widest in the middle and tapers towards top & and bottom.
