Narrate Dr Muthu|akshmi's role in the agitation against Devadasi system

Devadasi system is a religious practice performed in different parts of South India, such as Andhra Pradesh, in which girls were married to a deity or a temple.

The marriage usually takes place before the girl reaches puberty. Dr Reddy was the first person who abolished this system and played a very important role in increasing the minimum marriage age for women in India.

As she was against this movement so she argued for removing the Devadasi system that was prevalent in the state of Tamil Nadu at that time.
