Nearly all the absorption of the food into the blood takes place in Villi.

Little information about Villi:

The digested nutrients pass into blood vessels in the wall of small intestine through a process of diffusion. The function of villi present on the wall of Small Intestine is to increase the amount surface area available for the absorption of nutrients. Villi are attached with blood vessels, internally, and through diffusion the nutrients are diffused/absorbed into the Blood.
